The Elkhart County Historical Museum offers several group tour options for our visitors. You can view the exhibit spaces or get a behind-the scenes look at the museum’s extensive collection.

Take a guided tour of the Elkhart County Historical Museum. One of our excellent interpreters will lead your group through the museum’s fascinating exhibit spaces. A visit to the current temporary exhibit is included.
Get a behind-the-scenes look at the museum’s extensive bedcover collection. Museum staff will show some of the many quilts, coverlets, and comforters rarely seen by the public for this special program. Hear the remarkable story and history behind each quilt and learn about the people who lovingly crafted them. Go home with tips on how to care for your own bedcovers.

Hats Off to History
Women’s hats tell the story of their lives and roles. Please join us for a special program on the history of hats. Participants will get to view the museum’s extensive hat collection and learn how to identify hats from the 1920s to the 1960s. Make sure to wear your favorite hat to the program!
