A local Cub Scout Pack visited the museum to try out its new Civil War program. The boys were introduced to life during the Civil War by learning about a soldier’s uniform, war time medicine, and rations. They also had the opportunity to try some drilling exercises. A lot of fun was had by all.
We had a blast at our annual American Girl Doll program this past Saturday. Almost 90 girls attended the event which featured American Girl Addy and her life during the Civil War. At the end of the event the girls had an opportunity to win some prizes including Addy herself.
